Congratulations to Liberty Middle School and Arab Junior High School, Winners of our 2025 Division I and Division II Middle School State Tournaments
ASCA sponsors the Alabama Scholastic Challenge for Alabama middle schools in which academic quiz bowl teams comprised of 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th graders compete for our state championship. For 2026, the ASCA middle school district tournaments took place on Saturday, January 24, and the state tournament will be held on Saturday, February 28. The AISA state tournament took place on Tuesday, January 20. The winner of the AISA state tournamentreceived an automatic invitation to ASCA's state tournament. ASCA will also hosted an elementary school tournament for students in the 4th, 5th, and 6th grades. The district tournaments for elementary school teams was held on Friday, January 23, and the state tournament was held on Friday, February 20.
