Congratulations to Gadsden Middle School and Rainbow Middle School, Winners of our 2024 Division I and Division II Middle School State Tournaments

ASCA sponsors the Alabama Scholastic Challenge for Alabama middle schools in which academic quiz bowl teams comprised of 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th graders compete for our state championship. The ASCA middle school district tournaments will take place on Saturday, January 25, and the state tournament on Saturday, February 22. The AISA middle school district tournaments will take place on Wednesday, December 4, and the state tournament on Thursday, January 16. The winner of the AISA state tournament will receive an automatic invitation to ASCA's state tournament. ASCA will also host an elementary school tournament for students in the 5th and 6th grades. The district tournaments for elementary school teams will be held on Friday, January 24, and the state tournament will be held on Friday, March 7.
