Congratulations to Liberty Middle School and Arab Junior High School, Winners of our 2025 Division I and Division II Middle School State Tournaments
ASCA sponsors the Alabama Scholastic Challenge for Alabama middle schools in which academic quiz bowl teams comprised of 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th graders compete for our state championship. The ASCA middle school district tournaments took place on Saturday, January 25, and the state tournament on Saturday, February 22. The AISA middle school district tournaments took place on Wednesday, December 4, and the state tournament on Thursday, January 16. The winner of the AISA state tournament received an automatic invitation to ASCA's state tournament. ASCA also hosted an elementary school tournament for students in the 5th and 6th grades. The district tournaments for elementary school teams were held on Friday, January 24, and the state tournament was held on Friday, March 7.
